The Beginning of the End
We are coming to a close in Music. We will finish our projects and presentations this week. It is hoped that we will also finish our Lean on Me piece with a test this week too. Music ends the Friday after March break, Mar 14. Before we finish though there are 2 more topics that need to be covered, dynamics and instruments of families. To end the course there is a large test that covers everything in the course and will take place on Mar 12, or 13th. Thanks for your support and hard work. Great Job grade 9's.

What's up?
Hello,
Here is a short update for music 9. There is going to be a keyboard test Friday. We have started learning to play the black keys and will start our next piece Lean on me soon. Next week we will start our music history projects, start learning some Italian vocab and develop our listening skills. Lots to do. Keep up the good work.

Wow is it exam time already
Hello all,
Sorry I have not been updating for a while. The second rotation of music students have been doing super, especially with all their breaks and disruptions. We have just about completed our third keyboard piece, "when the saints go marching in" and finished our third written test. After exams we will be doing our next keyboard test, our last class keyboard piece, "Lean on Me" and starting our projects. Updated marks for music will be sent home with report cards. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck on exams.

Welcome to the 2nd rotation of music
Hello all,
Welcome to Music 9. I hope everyone enjoyed the snow day. We have completed our first performance on the keyboard and have started our first piece. This week we will have our first written test on Friday. It will be on everything we have covered recently, notes, treble clef, keyboard, rhythm, vocab, classroom rules. Next week we will have our first keyboard test and be working on increasing our music vocabulary.
